- The Falcon's Nest -
The Falcon's Nest Restaurant opened January 9, 2017 as part of Making Abilities Count. The restaurant received its name from their Special Olympics mascot the Falcon. Thus was born, The Falcon's Nest. The restaurant features fresh made soups, salads, sandwiches, and homemade desserts. They also have daily specials and desserts of the day. This eatery is part of the Forrester-Davis Development Center which helps adults with disabilities with vocational training and other life skills needed to live a more independent life. Clients perform jobs such as waiting tables, dish washing, cooking and meal prep. The meaningful jobs provided by MAC gives individuals with disabilities extra income & a greater purpose in life. Our hope is for you to SEE our abilities, to FEEL our sense of pride, and to TASTE our delicious food, and EXPERIENCE the joy at the Falcon's Nest. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The restaurant is located at 400 Oak Court in Clarksville, AR.
